Kendra offers percussion lessons in Federal Way, Washington to students of all ages and abilities on the following instruments:

Concert Percussion
    Timpani, Snare Drum, Cymbals, Tambourine, Triangle, etc.

Mallet Percussion
    Marimba, Vibraphone, Xylophone, Orchestra Bells and Gyil (Ghanaian   

Drum Set
    Jazz, Latin and Rock Styles

Hand Drumming
    Djembe and other African Drums (hand drums also available to rent)

African Drumming Ensemble!

Learn to play traditional hand drums in a fun and relaxed atmosphere! This ensemble experience includes an introduction to basic hand drumming and several traditional drumming pieces from Ghana, West Africa.

No experience is neccessary and all of the instruments are provided. This class is open to ages 10-adult (younger by evaluation).

Tuesdays, 6:00 p,m. - 6:45 p.m. (for ages 10-adult)
Additional times TBA, call or email if interested
Classes are held weekly, but a weekly commitment is not required.

$10 per class, $8 if you bring your own drum, and free if you already take weekly percussion lessons from Kendra!
